"Claudio Bravo picked the right one to stop - he got away with the offside goal before but showed strong hands to palm that shot to the side so that the player coming on to it, Mark Bresciano, had no angle to shoot from.
"Chile know they need a third goal, there is a sense of nerves and concern, they don't fancy that they can keep Australia out. It's almost a role reversal - with Chile now guilty of the same defensive lapses Australia made in the first half."

He's had a long time out injured and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal lasts an hour before he is replaced by Felipe Gutierrez. Just before that Australia had another good attack.
There's more goals in this as we enter the final third.

Australia are really giving this everything, and only a fine save from Claudio Bravo keeps Chile ahead,
Tim Cahill again causes all sorts of chaos in the middle and Marco Bresciano, coming in behind him, cracks in a left-footed shot which Bravo claws out one-handed. Top effort from Australia.

"The Chile goalkeeper does not cover himself in any sort of glory there, it is offside but he doesn't know that. Tim Cahill just mistimed his run. That is the difference maybe between a midfielder and a centre-forward.
"And earlier Australia should have had a penalty - you could see it straight away - I looked at Tim and though there must be a reason he hasn't made the connection with the ball. Gonzalo Jara half spun him round, there was certainly an air of guilt about him.
"But that is all Australia have to do - get the ball back in the box with some degree of quality and Cahill will cause Chile problems."

Are there many better headers of the ball than Tim Cahill? He bullets in a brilliant header to pull Australia level - but no! The flag is up. And he was offside.
    Brilliant connection though.

Tim Cahill is sniffing around after a left-wing cross for Australia and he is just eased off the ball by Gonzalo Jara - who had a handful of shirt for sure. Cahill is screaming for a penalty but referee Noumandiez Doue is not interested.

"There is an air of caution from Australia, they clearly do not want to start the second half in the same way they started the first. But you also sensed from the way they went off at half-time that there is a bit of belief that there could be something in this game for them."

It's not Bailey Wright though, stand down PNE fans. Former Hearts defender Ryan McGowan is on in place of the crocked Ivan Franjic.
McGowan now plays for Shandong Luneng Taishan, as if you didn't know.

Problems here for Australia as right-back Ivan Franjic goes down holding his hamstring. Preston defender Bailey Wright is warming up...

Australian winger Tommy Oar has been getting plenty of heat on social media during that first half, but what do we know about the 22-year-old?
I can tell you that he made the grade at Brisbane Roar and now plays in the Netherlands. He's only 5ft 7ins tall but as he says, "Oscar and Eden Hazard are good enough to avoid the physical aspect of the game..."
