Maximo named new Yanga coach

Tanzanian giants Yanga SC have named Brazilian tactician Marcio Maximo Barcellos as their new head coach, after the Jangwani side parted ways with Dutchman Hans Van Der Pluijm.
The Former Taifa stars head coach Maximo has signed a two year deal to coach the Jangwani boys immediately after arriving on Thursday.
"I want to change Yanga's football so as to reach top ranks," Maximo said at a press conference at Yanga's headquarters. "I call upon the players to work hard, so we achieve our goal, which is winning."
The 52-year-old who also managed Brazilian sides Democrata and Francana has vowed to develop Yanga's football in both domestic and international competitions, and he will also be the technical director at the club.
Also, Maximo will be together with his fellow Brazilian tactician Leornado Neiva who will be in charge of Yanga's youth side.
